Running Horse's history can only be summed up in a few words. Her name has nothing to bear with her nature as a wolf. Her life has been growing up with the tribal wolves, which the tribe protects from hunters, as they are the spirit guides of the Comanche and Cheyenne and Apache tribes. Her life has been geared to study and mimic the wolves lives. She is one of the best trackers in her tribe and her own senses are keener than most humans. She knows how to listen to the wind and hear what it says, her ability to smell things that humans can not smell is incredible, her sight is as keen as an eagle, and her ability to read the terrain is better than most of her tribes people.

Her schooling was divided between the tribal schools and the Academy where she passed with top honors in hand-to-hand combat, guerrilla warfare, demolitions, and tactical warfare on any terrain. Whatever ship gets her; she will be a great asset to that and it will have a tactical advantage. Her last assignment was on the USS Arizona before she was destroyed by the ensuing battle with the Orion pirates. Many of her friends and her captain were killed but she has the strength to carry on the fight and continues to do so today.
Her engineering skills are outstanding and she is a virtual genius when it comes to miracles in engineering. She has studied everything she could at the Academy and Starfleet Engineering as well. She can make ships do almost anything at her will. Her sense of devotion to the ship is by far the most loyalty we have ever seen in a human being. She will go the extra yard to keep the ship in one piece. We are really surprised by her tenatious drive that keeps her always trying to get that extra little bit out of the engines and the ship as well. In our opinion she has really studdied almost all of Capt. Montgomery Scott and his miracles and that of other famous engineers as well. Her engineering skills are under rated by many until they see her in action and her accomplishments speak for themsleves. She is an asset to any ship that gets her as their CEO for they will indeed have the best ship in starfleet.
Between her prowess for tracking and skills, and her love and dedication to engineering, any ship will get a superb officer. That much is guaranteed and is very loyal to her captain and crew. Indeed an asset to any ship that she signs on with.

This is an extraordinary young lady. Most people would say that she is somewhat super human but that is not the case. She does have senses far beyond what you would call normal. Being Indian in heritage she is endowed with all the skills of being able to talk and listen to the wind, earth, animals, and basically comune with it. She has demonstrated that her own body can take a lot of punishment and her mental abilities are somewhat like those of a Vulcan. She is logical in her reasoning and does not give into others with mental abilities as in Betaziods. She has a strong mental wall that is almost completely impenetrable. But in our opinion, she is quite normal for a human being. As her superiors will find out she is quite the individual that we would enjoy serving with.
